Behind the Lens

Growing up, I always enjoyed nature, exploring the woods and seeing beauty in the little things. As kids, grandma would walk us out to the end of the lane, where you could see for literally a country mile. We would watch the sunsets as they lit up the prairie. From fiery red and orange, fading into pastel pink and purple hues. It was breath taking and inspiring. Her voice still echoes in my ear- "You're never too busy to stop and watch the sunset". Oh, what wisdom that was.

I started out shooting on an old Pentax Spot-matic. It started as a hobby and soon became a voice for me. What started out as finding my voice in life, quickly grew into a lifestyle. Looking for beauty in ordinary places, finding beauty where others see the mundane. We choose to look for what we see. Always remember- Life's a journey- enjoy the view- and never miss a sunset!
